What the paid themes add
Reef is the free edition: the blog and the Design page. It keeps what a blog needs in EmDash: posts, categories, authors, media, menus, settings, the sitemap, along with the UI primitives, the typed bilingual layer, the measured dark mode and the conventions written for agents.
The features of the paid themes are not in it: the SEO report with Cloudflare figures and the page audit, the newsletter sent from a post, the subscriber list, the site emails and messages, maintenance mode, the tiled dashboard, the Features screen, « Mettre le site à jour ».
The six paid themes add the business built on top of that foundation: a shop whose products and Stripe orders are managed in the back office, a headless storefront read from WooCommerce or Shopify, a SaaS site with its pricing page and its posts and integrations in the database, a portfolio whose projects are managed in the database, a launch page whose sections are managed in the database.
